Everyone’s story begins somewhere, and mine began when I started in the gas business back in 1980.

After holding several different management positions, my expertise was in management development and personnel recruiting while working as the Regional Human Resources Manager.

Having learned the propane business from the bottom-up, I developed a niche for placing key people in critical positions, relative to each individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and Jim Stein industry background.

Having worked for two major propane gas marketers from 1980 to 2006.
My positions included:

Regional Manager - Human Resources & Employee Relations
Area Manager
District Manager
Driver / Gas Service Tech

Beginning with the end in mind -

was established in 2006 for the sole purpose of providing Hiring, Recruiting and HR services, exclusively for the Gas industry

While working, I earned a master's degree in Management & Organizational Development and a bachelor's degree in Management. My membership associations and professional certificates include:
