Propane Service Tech - Kingston and Carver, Massachusetts
$30 to $45 DOE
Looking for individual with demonstrated skills in the PROPANE GAS Business field operations.
Experience in servicing/installing RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL GAS equipment and systems
Perform installations, repairs, and service of propane products and appliances.
* Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit requirements.
*Install and hook-up propane storage tanks, regulators and associated equipment
* Repairing and maintaining propane appliances; and providing service to our residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks.
Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
Requirements Include:
Some knowledge of controls and electrical desired but will train. Familiar with electronic productivity tools: software and firmware tools. We will train!
Excellent communications and customer relationship skills with ability to work independently
LP Gas Fitters preferred.
CETP certifications PREFERRED but will train on CETP if needed
In time, the ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL) W HAZ & AIR BRKS ENDORSEMENTS. Company will pay for this license.
Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, Drug Test and Homeland Security Background Check.
Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from General Manager.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay is $30 to $45 DOE Range depending on licenses held or timeline for securing license.
