Local CDL Route Driver / Technician- Shelbyville, MI 49344
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations.
The ideal candidate will require someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work.
Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local plant manager.
Operate company vehicle in a safe, efficient and courteous manner.
Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
Loading and Delivering LP-Gas cylinders to commercial & industrial customers within an assigned service area.
Maintain good customer relations by providing friendly courteous service to our customers and be a team player with a great attitude.
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a HazMat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.
Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
