Account Sales Rep - Lexington Park, MD

Taylor Gas Company is a family owned and operated propane sales, service and accessories company born and raised right here in St. Mary's County.

Our knowledge of propane sales and service spans three generations and over 65 years in the industry.

We are looking for a sales professional with a strong sales background, preferably in the Propane Gas, Natural Gas, Oil Heat, Gas Plumbing, Gas Appliance Repair or Gas HVAC business.


Candidates must have solid outside sales experience and a proven track record in business development, account management and customer service.

Job Description:

Account Sales Rep - Lexington Park, MD

Develop a Growth Action Plan for assigned territory.

Establishes strong relationships with prospective customers through the use of various prospecting and business development techniques.

Develop and execute a sales plan for their specific geographic area in order to maintain a high level of effective sales call activity and increase productivity.

Prepares and presents sales proposals to current and prospective customers.

Become an "expert" on products and solutions and is current on regulatory changes.


Requirements:

3-5 years outside sales experience.

Must have all sales skills necessary to prospect and close new customers.

Must be willing to learn all aspects and be knowledgeable of propane products and services.

Must be able to maintain a high level of productivity through careful planning and execution.

Ability to establish and develop both internal and external relationships, present sales proposals and build client accounts.
